Academy of Scholars 
Adviser: Jennifer Theel

The Academy of Scholars prepares selected academically achieving seniors and juniors to compete successfully for valuable scholarships at accredited universities. Participants are selected based on class rank, grade point average, and leadership skills. AOS members attend monthly enrichment seminars on a variety of topics relating to a college application, selection, and success.

Athletics and Activities Club
Advisor: Mr. Cains
Come get involved after school in athletic and intellectual activities. We will have events 1-2 times a month on Thursday AFTER SCHOOL.

Forensics
Advisor: Evelyn Stackley

Students compete in a variety of speech and debate events (Original Oratory, Informative, Program Oral Interp, Dramatic Interp, Humorous Interp, DUO Interp, Oral Interp, Declamation, Congress, Lincoln/Douglas, etc.).

Glee Club
Advisor: Mrs. Cobb

Is music your passion?  Do you have that inner message that can only be expressed through musical performances?  Join the Glee Club and share your joy of music with others.

Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA)
Advisor: Ms. Bradley
The purpose of HOSA is to promote career opportunities in the health care industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. 

National Honor Society
Advisor: Ms. Stackley

The National Honor Society (NHS) is more than just an honor roll. The Honor Society chapter establishes rules for membership that are based upon a student’s outstanding performance in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.  Be among the select few who will be given this recognition! Science Olympiad
Advisor: Mrs. Cains

What started as a humble grassroots assembly of science teachers is now one of the premier science competitions in the nation. We provide rigorous, standards-based challenges to more than 5,700 teams in 48 states.  For more information visit www.SOINC.ORG.

Service Club
Advisors: Ms. Sisk and Mrs. Does
The community service club is a unique opportunity for CPHS students to give back to the community while earning community service hours. Our focus will be on donor drives for the Fayetteville Animal Protection Society (FAPS) and volunteerism within our school community. Teachers will have opportunities throughout the school year to request volunteer services. 

Student Government Association
Advisors: Ms. Burke & Ms. Rios

The Student Government Association of CPHS serves as the liaison between the student body and the administration.  Through the SGA, students may express their opinions and participate in the management of school enterprises.  The student government representatives recognize this responsibility and work diligently to represent the student body. The SGA promotes leadership, initiative, and self-motivation among its members.

Yearbook
Advisors: Mrs. Hackett

The Yearbook Club’s main goal is to produce memories so that students and staff can reflect on the awesome learning and social experiences that they shared\will share this school year. The members and club advisers also learn together as they work in areas of photography, computer software, and light marketing strategies.

Yoga Club
Advisor: Mrs. Phillips and Ms. Anderson
The Yoga Club is comprised of students who would like to deepen their understanding of yoga practice, history, philosophy, and teaching methodology.
