Academy of Scholars 
Adviser: Brittany Raines

The Academy of Scholars prepares selected academically achieving seniors and juniors to compete successfully for valuable scholarships at accredited universities. Participants are selected based on class rank, grade point average, and leadership skills. AOS members attend monthly enrichment seminars on a variety of topics relating to college application, selection, and success.

Anime Club
Adviser: Ms. Anderson
The Anime Club promotes an interest in and appreciation of anime through viewings, discussion sessions, and drawing.

Art Club
Advisers: Missy Sisk and Debra Lundy

The Art Club provides materials, instruction and support for those students who are seeking a creative outlet in addition to their academic schedule. 

Dance Team
Adviser: Mrs. Phillips
The Dance team is comprised of talented and committed dancers who strive to instill self-confidence, motivation and diversity through their high-energy practices and performances.

Advisers: Evelyn Stackley

Students compete in a variety of speech and debate events ( public speaking, acting, reading, and interpretation, etc.).

Glee Club
Adviser: Mrs. Cobb

Is music your passion?  Do you have that inner message that can only be expressed through musical performances?  Join the Glee Club  and share your joy of music with others.

National Honor Society
Adviser: Ms. Stackley

The National Honor Society is more than just an honor roll. The Honor Society chapter establishes rules for membership that are based upon a student’s outstanding performance in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.  Be among the select few who will be given this recognition! Science Olympiad
Adviser: Mrs. Thayer

What started as a humble grassroots assembly of science teachers is now one of the premiere science competitions in the nation. We provide rigorous, standards-based challenges to more than 5,700 teams in 48 states.  For more information visit www.SOINC.ORG.

Student Government Association
Advisers: Ms. Burke & Ms. Rios

The Student Government Association of CPHS serves as the liaison between the student body and the administration.  Through the SGA, students may express their opinions and participate in the management of the school enterprises.  The student government representatives recognize this responsibility and work diligently to represent the student body. The SGA promotes leadership, initiative, and self-motivation among its members.

Adviser: Mrs. Hackett and Ms. Bradley

The Yearbook Club’s main goal is to produce memories so that students and staff can reflect on the awesome learning and social experiences that they shared\will share this school year. The members and the club advisers also learn together as they work in areas of photography, computer software, and light marketing strategies.
