Fayetteville, NC – The Cumberland County Schools (CCS) is working closely with Cumberland County Emergency Management to monitor the path of Hurricane Michael. The safety of students and staff is our top priority.

Based on the State of Emergency issued by Governor Roy Cooper and information received from the National Weather Service regarding the storm’s possible impact on Cumberland County, the CCS will be closed on Thursday, October 11, for all staff and students (Option D). All after-school activities, events and athletic events are canceled on October 11.

Due to numerous road closures, flooding and hazardous road conditions, Cumberland County Schools will be closed on Thursday, September 20, 2018 and Friday, September 21, 2018 for students.

Primetime will also be closed.

After school activities are cancelled.
